Today, we are finishing on a different note. Introducing Project Recycled Cork…a recycling project launched by the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) which is also part of a competition between universities for the SOLAR DECATHLON 2019 in Budapest. This project is aimed at creating ecological creative solutions for real-world issues in the building industry. They are aiming to collect 1500 000 corks with which to bio-construct in Valenica and are currently are looking for ambassador companies for this project. If you are a restaurant, wedding hall, winery, cider house, tavern, town hall, distributor or private, please do not hesitate to register your aid. Your company premises will become a clean cork recycling point where you and your customers can donate corks later to be collected for the project. With all the current concerns for the environment, this is the wine industries opportunity to give back. To read more about the project or to sign up your business as a cork collector click through.
